Lay Orientation 
10.00 am - 3.00 pm The Lay Employees’ Orientation Day comprises training for newly appointed lay employees working in a church context. 
It is designed to give a better understanding of the role of church worker, both in general and in one’s own setting. 
The day’s topics, and the opportunity to share together, will help develop a strong foundation of good practice.

EDI Webinar: Welcoming All 
1.00 pm - 2.30 pm This webinar will draw from the EDI (Equality Diversity & Inclusion) Toolkit, and through people's stories will include
an acknowledgment that members of the LGBTQI+ have been unwelcome and have faced discrimination; exploring how churches can indeed 'welcome all'; 
considering how Jesus welcomed (not only people inclusively, but primarily those who had been made to feel unwelcome); considering how the early Church learnt to welcome
across boundaries of community and to include those who had been excluded.
